00;00;00;08 - 00;00;04;04 Should you get a Disney dining plan when you stay at Walt Disney World 00;00;04;04 - 00;00;05;16 Resort Hotel? 00;00;05;16 - 00;00;06;15 Welcome to the podcast. 00;00;06;15 - 00;00;07;07 My name's Martin, 00;00;07;07 - 00;00;11;01 and this week I'll be talking to you all about the Disney dining plans 00;00;11;08 - 00;00;15;02 and whether they will be right for you and your trip to Orlando. 00;00;15;05 - 00;00;18;06 So Disney done and plans are coming back open for arrivals 00;00;18;10 - 00;00;21;10 from the 9th of January 20, 24 onwards. 00;00;21;11 - 00;00;24;18 They will start during COVID and Disney decides to bring them back. 00;00;24;20 - 00;00;28;26 What exactly is a Disney dining plan is basically a way 00;00;28;26 - 00;00;33;11 of prepaying for your food and for drinks as well, 00;00;33;13 - 00;00;36;11 so that you don't have to keep getting your wallet out every single time 00;00;36;11 - 00;00;39;11 you want to buy something whilst you're in Orlando. 00;00;39;17 - 00;00;43;09 And a lot of families like to do this because it means that they have already 00;00;43;09 - 00;00;45;23 paid for. Pretty much everything was there. 00;00;45;23 - 00;00;48;17 So it means that they don't have to then save some extra money. 00;00;48;17 - 00;00;50;14 They know they've already paid for it. 00;00;50;14 - 00;00;53;12 So apart from having to buy the all kinds of things 00;00;53;12 - 00;00;56;12 out of pocket, pretty much all going to be covered. 00;00;56;13 - 00;00;57;14 Sit back, relax. 00;00;57;14 - 00;00;59;05 Grab yourself a Jeffrey's coffee. 00;00;59;05 - 00;01;02;25 As I explained to you all about the Walt Disney World Disney 00;01;02;25 - 00;01;06;10 Dining plans, there are two different Disney dining plans. 00;01;06;10 - 00;01;11;00 You have the Disney quick Service dining plan and the Disney Dining plan. 00;01;11;02 - 00;01;15;03 They are quite similar names sometimes, but can get quite confusing 00;01;15;03 - 00;01;19;26 because we generally kind of call them the Disney dining plans and one of them is 00;01;19;26 - 00;01;23;04 called the Disney Dining Plan, which makes it a bit confusing. 00;01;23;08 - 00;01;25;26 So we talk about the Disney dining plans. 00;01;25;26 - 00;01;28;11 We're talking about the two of them together, 00;01;28;11 - 00;01;32;18 and then we're going to go into more depth as to what is different in each one. 00;01;32;21 - 00;01;35;27 Before we get onto the differences between the two Disney dining 00;01;35;28 - 00;01;38;28 plans, let's talk about what exactly the same. 00;01;39;04 - 00;01;43;08 So in each of them you will get two mills per night 00;01;43;10 - 00;01;46;27 that you stay there and one snack. 00;01;47;00 - 00;01;50;04 We'll talk about what the different meals you can get a bit later on, 00;01;50;04 - 00;01;54;02 but you're going to be getting for every single night that you're there 00;01;54;04 - 00;01;56;13 and you're on the Disney dining plan, 00;01;56;13 - 00;02;00;04 you will get two meals and one snack per night. 00;02;00;05 - 00;02;04;17 So if you're there for ten nights, you will get 20 meals and ten snacks. 00;02;04;20 - 00;02;07;02 Now you can use these whenever you like. 00;02;07;02 - 00;02;10;10 So if you just want to splurge and you win your first day, 00;02;10;10 - 00;02;13;18 your first 24 hours, use up all 20 credits 00;02;13;20 - 00;02;17;03 for your meal other than how it of a year, that's your me as debt. 00;02;17;05 - 00;02;18;10 You can do that. Now. 00;02;18;10 - 00;02;22;09 It's important to know that everyone who is in the same room 00;02;22;09 - 00;02;25;14 as you needs to take the same Disney dining plan as you. 00;02;25;19 - 00;02;30;01 So you have people who are on one plan and people who are on a different plan. 00;02;30;01 - 00;02;32;16 Everyone in that room needs to take the same plans. 00;02;32;16 - 00;02;36;26 You need to work out what's best for everyone, not just for one person. 00;02;36;26 - 00;02;39;18 Likewise, you can't just have it for one person. 00;02;39;18 - 00;02;43;22 Now, if you have two rooms, for example, say, for example, you're a family of 00;02;43;22 - 00;02;47;12 five or six, so you could be spreading out and having two rooms. 00;02;47;14 - 00;02;50;04 You don't need to have it for both rooms. 00;02;50;04 - 00;02;52;00 You can have it for just one room. 00;02;52;00 - 00;02;55;25 So for example, if you wanted to have the quick service 00;02;55;25 - 00;03;00;13 dining plan, all those credits would be put onto the wristbands. 00;03;00;16 - 00;03;04;05 The Magic band for the room that has it. 00;03;04;08 - 00;03;08;16 So what you could do is if you were, for example, family of six, 00;03;08;16 - 00;03;14;04 some say two adults and four kids, you put some of the kids in one room. 00;03;14;06 - 00;03;17;11 So the room that has the Disney Indian dining will have all the credits 00;03;17;11 - 00;03;19;16 that they want to go and pay for things. 00;03;19;16 - 00;03;22;09 They will be them who it needs to use their magicband 00;03;22;09 - 00;03;26;07 or their park tickets to pay for these suites. 00;03;26;07 - 00;03;29;07 One of Orlando gurus, and they'd be really happy to help 00;03;29;13 - 00;03;32;14 work out if you need it for every single person. 00;03;32;14 - 00;03;35;27 If you're going to have it for just one room, for two rooms to speak to, 00;03;35;29 - 00;03;40;16 and they'll be able to help you decide which is best for you, you explain 00;03;40;16 - 00;03;45;03 that you're going to be getting two meals per night and one snack per night. 00;03;45;08 - 00;03;48;16 So the snack is the same in on both meal plans. 00;03;48;18 - 00;03;51;18 Let's talk about the snack before we get onto the main course. 00;03;51;18 - 00;03;54;25 So when you go to any of the restaurants 00;03;54;25 - 00;03;57;29 of the carts, you'll see a little logo on there. 00;03;57;29 - 00;04;02;08 And also when if you're ordering on the mobile ordering app 00;04;02;11 - 00;04;05;26 on the My Disney Experience app, you do mobile ordering 00;04;05;28 - 00;04;10;20 it will say on there qualifies as a snack so anything that's on there 00;04;10;24 - 00;04;16;19 so that can be things like cupcakes funnel cakes, 00;04;16;21 - 00;04;18;13 donuts, popcorn all 00;04;18;13 - 00;04;21;13 that kind of stuff the mickey bars of course pretzels. 00;04;21;14 - 00;04;25;05 But it could also be, for example, a bottle of coke. 00;04;25;07 - 00;04;27;01 I personally wouldn't use it on the bottle of coke. 00;04;27;01 - 00;04;30;06 I think these but of value to use on other things. 00;04;30;11 - 00;04;33;07 But you can use it on that kind of stuff if you want to 00;04;33;07 - 00;04;36;04 just be careful when you go to pay for it. 00;04;36;04 - 00;04;39;18 To say that you want sued, that you pay for it not on your magic 00;04;39;18 - 00;04;43;11 bank is automatically it will take it off of your credit 00;04;43;13 - 00;04;46;27 if you want to pay for things, 00;04;46;29 - 00;04;49;21 cash or on a card, 00;04;49;21 - 00;04;51;13 that's the best way of doing it if you don't actually 00;04;51;13 - 00;04;54;01 want to use any of your credits. Okay. 00;04;54;01 - 00;04;57;21 It gets a bit confusing If you buy, for example, 00;04;57;24 - 00;05;01;11 a funnel cake and a drink cut, you need some fruit to sit. 00;05;01;14 - 00;05;03;18 But transactions, if you don't want to be paying 00;05;03;18 - 00;05;05;22 for the drinks using any of your credits. 00;05;05;22 - 00;05;09;03 So this massive selection that you can choose 00;05;09;03 - 00;05;12;07 from to get rid of these snacks, lots of the carts around it. 00;05;12;07 - 00;05;14;20 So you can see the cast. I've got the ice creams on there. 00;05;14;20 - 00;05;17;20 All have the little logos and be I tell you which ones it is. 00;05;17;26 - 00;05;20;08 Quick service restaurants. We've all got great snacks. 00;05;20;08 - 00;05;23;16 I had a Wookie cookie in Backlog Express 00;05;23;18 - 00;05;27;07 in Hollywood studio and that would class as a snack on there. 00;05;27;11 - 00;05;28;21 So it's a great way of prepaying 00;05;28;21 - 00;05;32;23 because you doesn't really want to have a snack in the afternoon. 00;05;32;25 - 00;05;35;09 Maybe like an ice cream and some popcorn, some of that. 00;05;35;09 - 00;05;38;05 So that is one of the things that is included. 00;05;38;05 - 00;05;40;22 So I said, stay for ten nights and you will get intense. 00;05;40;22 - 00;05;41;22 That credits. 00;05;41;22 - 00;05;44;27 It's also important to note that all the credits 00;05;44;27 - 00;05;47;27 for that room are all pulled together. 00;05;48;03 - 00;05;52;11 So that means that if there are two people in the room, 00;05;52;13 - 00;05;56;10 you go the ten nights, you will get 20 meal 00;05;56;10 - 00;06;00;08 credits per person, but that's 40 in total. 00;06;00;11 - 00;06;03;15 You also see again get ten Socrates per person. 00;06;03;22 - 00;06;06;02 So that's 20 snack credits in total. 00;06;06;02 - 00;06;09;26 Now there's nothing stopping one person using the magic band 00;06;10;00 - 00;06;11;28 and buying 20 snacks all in one go. 00;06;11;28 - 00;06;16;18 You don't have to tap each person's magic band to pay for it. 00;06;16;18 - 00;06;20;13 It comes off at the rim. So just be careful 00;06;20;15 - 00;06;23;11 that isn't ten snacks per person. 00;06;23;11 - 00;06;27;03 Literally is how many snacks 00;06;27;05 - 00;06;31;22 per person times about people in the room and anyone can use those. 00;06;31;28 - 00;06;33;17 So just be careful. 00;06;33;17 - 00;06;36;14 You allowed the kids do to go and buy stuff 00;06;36;14 - 00;06;40;24 because they can use up your credits instead of just using their own credits. 00;06;40;24 - 00;06;42;18 It is great because for example, 00;06;42;18 - 00;06;45;24 I know person who not wants to have a snack in the afternoon, 00;06;46;01 - 00;06;51;18 but the kids might want to have a snack so they can use my credits towards that. 00;06;51;20 - 00;06;54;09 That's great. 00;06;54;09 - 00;06;56;08 So this also talk about the other great thing 00;06;56;08 - 00;07;00;29 that you get on both dining plans and that is one of the resort refillable mugs. 00;07;01;02 - 00;07;07;04 These are worth about $22 each and every person will get one of those. So 00;07;07;07 - 00;07;08;00 these give you 00;07;08;00 - 00;07;11;24 unlimited soft drinks in your hotel. 00;07;12;00 - 00;07;13;18 They don't work in the theme parks. 00;07;13;18 - 00;07;16;11 They don't work in the parks. It don't work in Disney Springs. 00;07;16;11 - 00;07;18;08 They just work in the hotels. 00;07;18;08 - 00;07;21;04 They work in the Disney hotels, they work in any of them. 00;07;21;04 - 00;07;23;16 So if you're staying in, for example, in pop century, 00;07;23;16 - 00;07;27;07 you can go and use that in contemporary, for example. 00;07;27;09 - 00;07;30;25 So if you're going and having a little wander around, 00;07;30;27 - 00;07;31;29 for example, Animal Kingdom, 00;07;31;29 - 00;07;35;08 Great Hotel, it's going to have one there and you can go and use your resort 00;07;35;08 - 00;07;39;09 refillable mug in Animal Kingdom, but you happen to be staying 00;07;39;09 - 00;07;42;14 at pop century and vice versa as well. 00;07;42;17 - 00;07;45;01 These are friends tastic because you're going to get a limited 00;07;45;01 - 00;07;50;22 refills on things at the filter, coffee, tea, soda, that kind of stuff. 00;07;50;25 - 00;07;54;16 My little tip is if you're going to have the iced tea 00;07;54;18 - 00;07;57;26 is they have an unsweetened version and they have a three inch version. 00;07;58;03 - 00;08;01;21 Now the unsweetened version is not great and the sweetened 00;08;01;21 - 00;08;03;06 version is far too sweet. 00;08;03;06 - 00;08;07;16 So I mix it half and half, give it a quick shake, and then 00;08;07;19 - 00;08;09;11 have a nice sort of pleasant drink. 00;08;09;11 - 00;08;12;11 So it is really kind of nice we're doing that. 00;08;12;14 - 00;08;13;20 Give you an example. 00;08;13;20 - 00;08;18;21 A bottle of coke in the park is about $4.20 00;08;18;23 - 00;08;21;09 $4 birthday. 00;08;21;09 - 00;08;24;15 Now I would say the resourceful mugs, they're not huge 00;08;24;18 - 00;08;27;24 because they're insulated for the hot drinks, 00;08;27;26 - 00;08;31;20 the inside where that you hope the liquid isn't that big. 00;08;31;22 - 00;08;35;08 So you're not going to get a huge amount 00;08;35;10 - 00;08;38;10 of drink in there after a couple of Cokes it'll be gone 00;08;38;15 - 00;08;41;13 don't kind of thing that you're going to be sort of like, take that, then 00;08;41;13 - 00;08;45;03 take it back and then put it in never or then take it to the park, refill things. 00;08;45;09 - 00;08;49;09 It's kind of designed just to refresh when you're in the pool, 00;08;49;09 - 00;08;52;12 for example, in your hotel or just wandering around, 00;08;52;12 - 00;08;54;20 you might be going to meet a character that would wander in the shop. 00;08;54;20 - 00;08;56;07 It's a good place to go and fill up. 00;08;56;07 - 00;08;56;24 Okay. 00;08;56;24 - 00;09;00;16 Well, we always generally tend to do is we go and send someone whilst 00;09;00;19 - 00;09;04;05 if you get was once having a shower in the morning, send someone over to 00;09;04;11 - 00;09;08;13 to the reception because that's generally where they come to buy a reception 00;09;08;15 - 00;09;09;21 restaurant in the area 00;09;09;21 - 00;09;12;29 and then go and fill up the resort for a reef, it will most bring them back. 00;09;12;29 - 00;09;14;26 And then you've all got a little drink before 00;09;14;26 - 00;09;17;08 heading out into the blazing Orlando. 00;09;17;08 - 00;09;22;09 So let's talk about what is the same with each of the Disney 00;09;22;09 - 00;09;25;28 dining passes, existing dining plan, the Disney quick service plan. 00;09;26;00 - 00;09;30;08 You will get at least one quick service meal per day. 00;09;30;12 - 00;09;32;06 So what is a quick service? 00;09;32;06 - 00;09;34;07 The quick service meal is in the UK. 00;09;34;07 - 00;09;38;04 We kind of think of that as something like KFC, McDonald's somewhere where you go 00;09;38;04 - 00;09;42;12 up, get a tray of food and then go down, sit down, find a table. 00;09;42;15 - 00;09;45;13 Okay, So that is a an entree. 00;09;45;13 - 00;09;49;21 What they will concentrate called a main meal and also a drink as well. 00;09;49;22 - 00;09;53;28 Now it can be for someone who is over 21, 00;09;54;01 - 00;09;57;16 that can be a selection of alcoholic drinks as well as it could be 00;09;57;17 - 00;10;01;29 a draft, beer, a wine, or even some of the cocktails as well are also included. 00;10;01;29 - 00;10;05;20 So if you want to sit there and have a nice glass of wine 00;10;05;21 - 00;10;08;01 with your burger pizza, great, fantastic. 00;10;08;01 - 00;10;09;10 You can do that. 00;10;09;10 - 00;10;14;00 There's also a great selection of mocktails for the kids. 00;10;14;02 - 00;10;15;14 There's free shakes. 00;10;15;14 - 00;10;18;11 So there's kind of others pretty kind of called milkshakes. 00;10;18;11 - 00;10;20;15 You can have those just look for the symbol 00;10;20;15 - 00;10;23;01 it would tell you on there, whether it's included or not. 00;10;23;01 - 00;10;27;14 So that's the quick service meal, which is your main meal and a drink. 00;10;27;17 - 00;10;30;10 So where it changes 00;10;30;12 - 00;10;31;09 on the 00;10;31;09 - 00;10;35;05 cheaper Disney quick service dining plan, 00;10;35;08 - 00;10;40;00 you will get two of those quick service meals per day. 00;10;40;03 - 00;10;44;16 So that's your main meal and you drink along with your snack as well. 00;10;44;18 - 00;10;48;15 On the Disney dining plan, that's the more expensive one you will get. 00;10;48;15 - 00;10;51;25 One quick service meal per day and you would get one 00;10;52;00 - 00;10;55;22 table service meal per day as well. 00;10;55;22 - 00;10;58;19 So you still get two meals on the cheap. 00;10;58;19 - 00;11;00;23 One, you're getting two quick service minutes. 00;11;00;23 - 00;11;04;09 These is called the cheaper meals you can get and on the more expensive 00;11;04;15 - 00;11;10;01 plan, you'll get one quick service and one more expensive table service meal. 00;11;10;04 - 00;11;13;13 Let's talk about the Disney dining plan. 00;11;13;20 - 00;11;17;06 This will give you one table service meal 00;11;17;09 - 00;11;21;05 per person per day, including a drink and one quick service 00;11;21;05 - 00;11;25;03 meal per person per day plus also that snack as well. 00;11;25;04 - 00;11;29;02 So the Disney dining plan is for an adult. 00;11;29;02 - 00;11;32;21 It's £7.99 per night. 00;11;32;24 - 00;11;35;01 And for a child it's 2499. 00;11;35;01 - 00;11;37;10 So 78 and 25. 00;11;37;10 - 00;11;38;05 Okay. 00;11;38;05 - 00;11;42;00 For a child, that's anyone who is age nine and below. 00;11;42;08 - 00;11;46;26 So anyone age from ten and above will be classed as an advocate. 00;11;46;26 - 00;11;49;15 Just something to be mindful about. 00;11;49;15 - 00;11;52;22 It doesn't really make too much difference on, for example, the park tickets. 00;11;52;22 - 00;11;54;05 They're not huge difference. 00;11;54;05 - 00;11;57;16 But on a dining plan, this is where you've got to think about 00;11;57;18 - 00;12;01;15 is a ten year old actually going to eat that amount of food 00;12;01;18 - 00;12;05;04 somewhere, somewhere, even if you know your kids a lot better than I do. 00;12;05;08 - 00;12;07;17 So this is aimed at people who want to have 00;12;07;17 - 00;12;09;21 a more leisurely kind of pace of life. 00;12;09;21 - 00;12;12;19 Just because you have one table service credit per night 00;12;12;19 - 00;12;14;21 doesn't mean you have to have one per night. 00;12;14;21 - 00;12;18;18 So, for example, what you could do is you could use that table 00;12;18;18 - 00;12;23;10 service credit for a buffet breakfast, 111, the character buffet breakfast. 00;12;23;10 - 00;12;25;00 You could do that at Garden Group 00;12;25;00 - 00;12;28;29 and then in the evening, go and do another table service. 00;12;28;29 - 00;12;31;13 Sea views two in one day. 00;12;31;13 - 00;12;34;02 So it just means that you haven't used that quick service credit 00;12;34;02 - 00;12;34;24 for that one day. 00;12;34;24 - 00;12;39;08 So you then roll that kind of over, said you can use them 00;12;39;09 - 00;12;42;10 at any time, said don't worry about any particular order that you use. 00;12;42;10 - 00;12;44;07 I mean, so where can you be? 00;12;44;07 - 00;12;46;06 You can eat at a themed restaurant. 00;12;46;06 - 00;12;50;11 Should you need a character dining experiences, upscale dining experiences. 00;12;50;16 - 00;12;54;09 There is so many different places, so many amazing places that you can go to. 00;12;54;12 - 00;12;58;06 The only thing you need to be wary of is that a few of the restaurants, 00;12;58;06 - 00;13;01;13 for example. Leslie why is too credit? 00;13;01;13 - 00;13;04;20 So instead of using one of your crates they're going to be using to it, 00;13;04;20 - 00;13;08;17 then the other thing to think about also 00;13;08;19 - 00;13;14;02 is that gratuities are not included when it comes to enjoy a meal. 00;13;14;06 - 00;13;17;06 You will be you will pay for your meal 00;13;17;06 - 00;13;21;02 with your magicband or your park ticket, 00;13;21;04 - 00;13;24;04 and that will take off the value of the meal. 00;13;24;11 - 00;13;28;09 It won't pay for the cookie, which is the gratuities are going to be 00;13;28;12 - 00;13;33;01 between 15 and 20% of how much that meal should have cost you. 00;13;33;08 - 00;13;36;08 Okay, So it can start to add up. 00;13;36;09 - 00;13;39;28 I like to pay for a cookie which is preferred to pay for them in cash, 00;13;40;01 - 00;13;43;08 however much just laid down. So for example, 00;13;43;10 - 00;13;44;14 $20 does 00;13;44;14 - 00;13;48;21 whatever is below kind of like cleaner and easier kind of way of doing it. 00;13;48;27 - 00;13;52;15 Or you can charge it back to your room using the magic bat if you want to. 00;13;52;22 - 00;13;56;00 So what does a table service meal credit give you is a table service. 00;13;56;00 - 00;13;59;03 Meal credit will give you ever an entree 00;13;59;03 - 00;14;02;09 since a main meal and a dessert and a drink. 00;14;02;09 - 00;14;06;12 And again, for anyone who's 21 or above that can be one of the selected 00;14;06;12 - 00;14;07;25 alcoholic drinks as well. 00;14;07;25 - 00;14;11;05 And for the kids, if there's things like mocktails, 00;14;11;08 - 00;14;13;18 it does also work in the buffet restaurants as well. 00;14;13;18 - 00;14;17;14 So instead of having a main course in dessert, you basically have a buffet 00;14;17;14 - 00;14;19;24 and also one of those drinks includes it as well. 00;14;19;24 - 00;14;22;11 So plenty of places you can go see. 00;14;22;11 - 00;14;26;27 And of course, when you're going to in these places, you need to make advance 00;14;26;27 - 00;14;31;07 dining reservations and these can be made up to 60 days in advance. 00;14;31;09 - 00;14;35;28 But what hotel can guests can do is they can book ten days more. 00;14;36;04 - 00;14;39;16 So if, for example, you are checking in on the 1st of December, 00;14;39;16 - 00;14;44;04 that's your first day, 60 days before that, just be able to start making dinner 00;14;44;04 - 00;14;50;00 reservations as from the 1st of December and then for the next ten days as well. 00;14;50;07 - 00;14;53;27 So that will cover you for a lot of your trip, depending on how 00;14;54;00 - 00;14;55;05 long your stay in that for. 00;14;55;05 - 00;16;27;08 and you had an all the kids well 00;16;27;08 - 00;16;31;06 under ten years old, so nine and below 00;16;31;09 - 00;16;35;29 that, it might be worth paying that extra to go and to the Disney dining plan 00;16;35;29 - 00;16;40;16 because you're only paying £5 extra per child per night is more expensive, 00;16;40;16 - 00;16;44;24 obviously, for an adult, but only £5 per child. 00;16;44;27 - 00;16;47;03 And you could have so many character 00;16;47;03 - 00;16;50;03 dining experiences, they will just go nuts for it. 00;16;50;03 - 00;16;53;03 So that is my little tip for that. 00;16;53;03 - 00;16;55;02 And you can use it on the mobile order. 00;16;55;02 - 00;16;57;24 So it's really great because you don't have to queue up. 00;16;57;24 - 00;16;59;29 You could just mobile order as you're walking over 00;16;59;29 - 00;17;02;00 and then just flash your phone 00;17;02;00 - 00;17;06;13 when you get there and you can pick up your food says no messing around. 00;17;06;15 - 00;17;12;01 These work in the Disney resort so you can use it, for example, for breakfast. 00;17;12;08 - 00;17;16;07 I personally wouldn't use it for breakfast as much as you can use it for, but 00;17;16;07 - 00;17;20;25 you could use a breakfast if you want, so you can go and use it in Disney Springs. 00;17;21;00 - 00;17;22;14 It will tell you everywhere 00;17;22;14 - 00;17;26;14 what is a quick service credit and what is a table service credit. 00;17;26;17 - 00;17;31;28 There are up to 200 locations that you can use your Disney dining pan credit at. 00;17;32;01 - 00;17;35;03 Obviously this can be more if you are using the table 00;17;35;03 - 00;17;38;03 service credit they got gives you more options. 00;17;38;05 - 00;17;40;17 Here's a couple of things that you need to be aware of 00;17;40;17 - 00;17;42;17 with the two Disney dining plans. 00;17;42;17 - 00;17;45;24 One, there is no Disney dining plan 00;17;45;27 - 00;17;49;04 for ages two and below. 00;17;49;06 - 00;17;53;16 You basically just need to pay for them if you want them to eat. 00;17;53;16 - 00;17;57;12 Some think buy it whilst you there or of course you've got those credits as well. 00;17;57;12 - 00;18;00;17 So I generally kind of find that an adult 00;18;00;17 - 00;18;03;16 male is big enough for an adult and a toddler. 00;18;03;23 - 00;18;08;25 So if you are going to, for example, the quick service just get an adult meter, 00;18;08;25 - 00;18;11;06 you could buy a meal for for a two year old. 00;18;11;06 - 00;18;16;16 They will be able to feast off of the what you're eating if you go to a buffet 00;18;16;16 - 00;18;20;16 because you've got a table service credit, they will eat for free. 00;18;20;18 - 00;18;25;00 So again, if you have a two year old with you and your 00;18;25;00 - 00;18;29;14 on the table service, Disney dining plan, they would eat for free. 00;18;29;14 - 00;18;34;09 They could also eat for free off of your plate as well in the table service. 00;18;34;09 - 00;18;38;00 But the basic means that the eastern part of your food, the quick service, 00;18;38;02 - 00;18;42;03 the meal is a huge so serving only to be kind of aware 00;18;42;04 - 00;18;47;16 of is the child meal credits can only be used on child meals. 00;18;47;21 - 00;18;51;20 You can't use a child meal credit for an adult male. 00;18;51;23 - 00;18;54;09 So if you've got a nine year old who's really hungry 00;18;54;09 - 00;18;57;09 and does not want the kids meal in the quick service, once adult, 00;18;57;13 - 00;19;00;22 that will come off of the adult male credit not offer. 00;19;00;22 - 00;19;03;08 The child won't because he's an adult male, 00;19;03;08 - 00;19;06;13 not a child's meal, and vice versa as well. 00;19;06;15 - 00;19;10;22 If you are an adult and you want to buy something on the kid's meal, 00;19;10;25 - 00;19;11;23 it won't work. 00;19;11;23 - 00;19;15;03 That won't take your credit off. Okay. 00;19;15;05 - 00;19;18;26 Likewise, you cannot use a table service credit 00;19;18;26 - 00;19;22;27 even though it is far more valuable than a quick serve is what you can not use 00;19;22;27 - 00;19;27;11 a table service credit in a quick service restaurant. 00;19;27;13 - 00;19;31;12 You cannot also use a quick service restaurant credit 00;19;31;15 - 00;19;35;08 towards the cost of a table service credit as well. 00;19;35;14 - 00;19;40;22 So if you are on the quick service plan and you want to go to a table service 00;19;40;24 - 00;19;43;17 restaurant, like for example, when the character dining experience 00;19;43;17 - 00;19;46;17 is, you will pay for that completely out of pocket, 00;19;46;18 - 00;19;49;26 you can't use any of your dining credit towards it. 00;19;49;27 - 00;19;54;29 Okay, So have a real think about how many character dining experiences 00;19;54;29 - 00;19;58;26 you're going to be doing as to which plan is best for you. 00;19;58;28 - 00;20;01;23 So how do you actually use the credit is really super simple. 00;20;01;23 - 00;20;03;01 I would explain it before. 00;20;03;01 - 00;20;05;27 All you just do is if you get one of those magic bands, 00;20;05;27 - 00;20;08;18 I really recommend getting a Bradley just to pay for them now. 00;20;08;18 - 00;20;12;06 But really we have recommend to get in the or use your result card. 00;20;12;09 - 00;20;15;05 You just tap nice and easy. 00;20;15;05 - 00;20;18;23 All your credits are stored there, so you just tap on there. 00;20;18;25 - 00;20;20;27 So is it Disney dining plan worth?
