What's not in the spirit of Valentines is slapping a man for speaking ill of your wife…or maybe it is, but not live on stage, and the Academy president now says the response to the Will Smith slap just wasn't "good enough", prompting her to ask just who is the head of the Academy anyway, certainly not her…the President of the Academy. Spielberg declares Tom Cruise and Top Gun saved cinema, because Hollywood still believes Covid is what killed the theater…silly Hollywood. Finally we tout out the wine, cook up a nice steak dinner, put on some Linda Ronstadt, and prep the strawberries as we dive in to The Last of Us.
