We kick off the conversation with how the morning started at Disney’s Old Key West Resort, grabbing breakfast from Goods to Go before heading out for our first day in the parks. Then we walk through arriving at Magic Kingdom and making our first stop for drinks at Beak & Barrel before jumping onto one of our favorite classic attractions, Pirates of the Caribbean. We also discuss the difficulties of overplaying too many reservations and Lightning Lane plans. We also talk about taking a midday break for lunch at Columbia Harbour House and one of the most memorable moments of the day — Jackson getting his haircut at the iconic Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street, U.S.A. 💈 Later in the day, we discuss grabbing a spot for the Festival of Fantasy Parade and soaking in all the Disney atmosphere before wrapping up the night with a ride on Haunted Mansion. And of course, we talk about the big milestone of the day — Jackson finding the courage to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventurefor the very first time.
