Welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. This week we have a battle royale between Disneyland and Disney World, but first, we have some news. This week in Disney News, it was Princess Week, and we FINALLY got our first peek into the Splash Mountain redo featuring Tiana! The artwork that will be inspiring the ride shows Tiana and an ultimate Mardi Gras celebration. It’s certainly a party we want to be invited to! The NBA experience closed for good at Disney Springs. Disney will be developing a retirement community at Lake Nona. Joe and I already bought a piggy bank to start saving up. And the Spiderman: No Way Home trailer dropped. It seems to have a very different feel than the other Spiderman movies, and the trailer raises more questions than it answers. This week, we take the most popular rides featured in the Magic Kingdom over in Disney World and pit them against their counterparts in Disneyland. The rides are Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Small World, and Pirates of the Caribbean. We discuss some of the differences between the rides in both parks (there are so many subtle differences). Then we pick our favorites, which is a lot harder than you may think.
