Disobedience and Unbelief

Moses lets anger push God's words from his mind, then strikes the rock instead of speaking to it. His disobedience grows from unbelief and publicly fails to honour God as holy, so he loses the privilege of leading Israel into the promised land. Forgiveness does not erase every earthly consequence. Yet repentance restores fellowship with God, and Jesus secures both forgiveness and renewal for His people, who cannot be removed from God's love. Bible Reference: Numbers 20:1–12 Preacher: KJ Tromp
