The 2024 Democratic National Convention kicked off in Chicago Monday, after months of preparations and an eventful summer that saw Vice President Kamala Harris abruptly become the party’s nominee as President Joe Biden stepped aside. We aim to change that by celebrating our neighborhoods and chronicling the resilience of the people who fight every day to make Chicago a better place for all.
