Disrupting The Currency of Worship: A New Temple (John 2:13-22)

In an uncertain world, how can one be sure of their standing with God? The ancient Jewish sacrificial system helped millions of people deal with this question. Through a clearly prescribed ritual, someone could know she was okay with God, and God was okay with her. Jesus disrupted this system as he flipped tables, drove out sacrificial animals, and foreshadowed the destruction of the temple where these sacrifices took place. Why?
