Summary

"Distant Mammary" is a Hard Rock Guitar Hook/Shred based guitar instrumental. This track as with almost all of my stuff was produced for Film and/or Television licensing, and I enjoy sharing this stuff with you guys so I throw it out here for you to enjoy, rather than just hearing it around some scene briefly. This track is built on a solid 80's Hair Band guitar hook, with a bridge that's very Van Halen influenced in its vibe and chord selection. This track is cut down the middle with a rippin' MXR Phase 90 powered guitar solo. I used the infamous http://JFRocks.com White Kramer to record the solo, made famous on countless Van Halen guitar lessons over the years, I still like to take it out now and again and give it a workout. The main rhythms of the song were recorded with my Gibson Les Paul Studio. I use that guitar a lot, I really dig the warm tones it produces on the rhythms. A warm guitar allows you to turn up the mids a bit more for added cut-through without losing the general warmness of the tone. This track is well worth blowing some speakers over so as always, enjoy... and CRANK IT UP!!! WAAAY UP!! Much of this track has a doubled stereo bass on it, that will work great for surround sound or any THX systems you might be crankin' this on...
