Many times we don’t realize that we have the ability to choose what we want to focus on, Instead, we just accept distractions as something we can’t control. Now YES, there are some distractions that we can’t prevent, but there are things you can do to help prevent them and stop them from accomplishing your tasks. Start off by pre-planning what you want to accomplish for the week and how you’re going to get it done. You know what distractions might come up, so make sure you prepare yourself for what might happen. Then plan on what to do, if and when that distraction happens. How would you overcome, what would you say, what would you do, and how would you adjust? All the things. The truth is distractions are when you allow them to become distractions.
