District 24 Senate and House of Representatives candidate forum hosted by the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce

The Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a candidate forum April 27, 2026, at the Ramkota Hotel and Convention Center in Pierre. Chamber Government Outreach Committee member Mary Duvall emceed and the moderators were DRG Media Group News and Farm Director Jody Heemstra and Riverfront Broadcasting News Director Zach Nelson. Republican District 24 Senate candidates on the ballot are (2 year term): Jim Mehlhaff– incumbent, Brian Murphy, and Mark Nelson. Republican District 24 House candidates on the ballot (L to R) are (2 year term): Regan Bollweg, Brian Burge, Laurie Gill, Tim Rounds, and Mike Wisegram.
