District 9 (2009)

We're drinking alien-themed IPA's for an alien movie on this episode of TDBR. Pour one out for all the prawns that died in vain. Today we're talking about District 9, a thought-provoking science-fiction film that despite being somewhat of an indie film featuring no A-list actors, managed to make an assload of money. I contribute that to it starring Borat...I mean Sharlto Copley as our main character Wikus. Alex plays devils advocate as usual and Austin plays Devils Angel-cate (???). Austin also discusses his opinion of other Neill Blomkamp films and Alex briefly mentions going back to the gym [editors note by Alex - I already stopped going].
