Ditch the Hype & Embrace Authenticity to Break Free from New Year Noise EP89
from Thrive Hive Podcast · host Nancy Medoff
Join my Free Confidence Community Application for Q2 1:1 Coaching Podsters, we’re back and it’s GAME TIME! Today we're diving into some real talk about something that’s really been on my mind lately: authenticity. This topic struck a chord with you when we first aired in November 2022 and became a fan favorite. With the new year new me energy and everyone buzzing with resolutions, manifestations, and vision boards, I want to make sure we're setting goals that align with who we truly are, not who we think we should be. I’m standing here recording this episode, unable to sit down from a treadmill injury, which was the wake-up call I needed to call a time out with myself and have a hard look at what I was doing. Just a few weeks ago I committed to more EASE in my life, so how is pushing myself to injury and trying to do ALL THE THINGS RIGHT NOW anywhere close to EASE? I’m sure you’re also seeing the endless posts promoting pushing the "new year, new you" narrative. Vision boards, living your best life, yes you can do it if you just sign up for my program, all these posts while possibly true, seemed inauthentic to me. In fact, I’d even call is toxic positivity. Whether you're an entrepreneur or part of a corporate structure, making sure your goals, plans and actions align with YOU is the game changer. Your authentic self, not someone else’s vision for you. If something feels off, it's time to reevaluate. I invite you to join me in prioritizing authenticity, as being true to ourselves attracts positive energy and like-minded connections. Remember, it's never too late to embrace authenticity and make choices that align with who you truly are. Cheers to a genuine and fulfilling 2024, Podsters
