Todd learned that sometimes you have to go out and approach others instead of waiting for them to come to you. Todd also shared that avoiding difficult conversations at work or in your personal life does not allow for growth and development. Having Difficult Conversations At Work- As a leader, being able to have difficult conversations with your employees is an integral part of the success of your team and organization. These conversations can be difficult mainly because of fear of failure. Transparency, authenticity, and vulnerability are crucial to change and growth amongst a team. Managing difficult conversations helps us build and maintain healthy personal as well as work relationships.
