EPISODE 22—JOÃO MAGALHÃES João Magakhães is a Reiki Master teacher and the President of the Portuguese Reiki Association, which he founded in 2008 and has become one of the most relevant in Europe. He is the author of numerous Reiki books such as O grande livro do Reiki, Reiki: Guia para Uma Vida feliz, and Reiki: Energia Universal. João and his wife also spearhead a number of volunteering initiatives such as teaching Reiki to people with special needs and pairing them to offer Reiki to the elderly and offering Reiki at schools. She’s a graduate teacher from the International House of Reiki, led by world-renowned Reiki master Frans Stiene. She also trained with the Center for True Health, and the International Center for Reiki. To gain an even deeper understanding of Reiki practice, Nathalie went to Japan to practice Zen Buddhism at the Chokai-san International Zendo. She is the author of Reiki as a Spiritual Practice: an Illustrated Guide, and the Reiki Healing Handbook (Rockridge Press). Support the show
