EPISODE 42: PAULA TERRERO Paula Terrero is a Reiki Master trained in the Usui System of Natural Healing. Since becoming a Reiki Master in 1993, Paula has worked in the Reiki and energy medicine community as a Reiki educator, practitioner, and advocate. She has spent the last three decades organizing, conducting, and facilitating workshops, presentations and teaching Reiki classes across the United State and in the Dominican Republic, where she is from. Paula has presented at over a dozen national and international health conferences and has devoted her career to working with underserved and vulnerable communities, including the uninsured, inner city immigrant populations, victims of domestic violence, the terminally ill, and persons addicted to narcotics. In addition to her extensive community involvement and continued teaching endeavors, Paula has continued her career training with teachers such as Hiroshi Doi, Hyakuten Inamoto, and Frans Stiene. She’s a graduate teacher from the International House of Reiki, led by world-renowned Reiki master Frans Stiene. She also trained with the Center for True Health and the International Center for Reiki. To gain an even deeper understanding of Reiki practice, Nathalie went to Japan to practice Zen Buddhism at the Chokai-san International Zendo.
