Jaby & Michael begin their journey into the Divergent series with Divergent (2014), the dystopian sci-fi adventure that follows Tris Prior as she discovers she doesn’t fit into the rigid faction system controlling her society and becomes a target for forces determined to maintain order at any cost. As she enters the dangerous Dauntless faction and uncovers deeper conspiracies threatening the entire city, the film blends action, survival, romance, and rebellion into the start of a larger franchise story. This reaction stands out as Jaby & Michael officially jump into the world of Divergent, experiencing the faction system, intense training sequences, and major twists in real time. Directed by Neil Burger (Limitless, The Illusionist, Voyagers, The Upside, Interview with the Assassin), and based on the novel by Veronica Roth (Divergent series novels, dystopian young adult fiction, Allegiant, Insurgent, Chosen Ones), the film stars Shailene Woodley (The Fault in Our Stars, Big Little Lies, Adrift, The Spectacular Now, Ferrari), Theo James (The White Lotus, The Gentlemen, Underworld: Awakening, Archive, Sanditon), Kate Winslet (Titanic, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Avatar: The Way of Water, Mare of Easttown, Revolutionary Road), Miles Teller (Top Gun: Maverick, Whiplash, Fantastic Four, War Dogs, The Spectacular Now), and Zoë Kravitz (The Batman, Mad Max: Fury Road, Big Little Lies, Kimi, X-Men: First Class), bringing together a cast tied to major franchises, young adult adaptations, and fan-favorite sci-fi stories that continue to drive strong reaction and crossover audience appeal. ___________________________________________________ We've got merch!
