President Jao Lourenco was quoted in media reports as saying they were going to re-launch fishing and agriculture and open the country to foreign investment. His government is seeking to increase the annual fish catch by sixteen per cent over the next four years to 614,000 tonnes. Meanwhile, it is aiming for a fifty per cent increase in fishmeal production to 30,000 tonnes over the same period.
