Welcome to the Tweep Trends podcast. Hey, Evette, what's trending today? Hey, I'm Evette, hey girl. And you are tuned in to Tweep Trends.
It's the quickest way to find out what's trending today. The universe is calling. You should probably get that. Let's get started.
Have you ever received a message from the universe? Now, you're probably saying to yourself, no, never. Some of you may be saying, yeah, I believe that I have. And when you think about this message, it's not like a text message or a letter in the mail, a phone call, even a loud voice in your ear.
That's not necessarily what the message is going to look or sound like. However, a message is something that you receive, and you know some way, somehow, that it's coming from a higher power than yourself. So whether you call it the universe, God, source energy, or whatever name that resonates with you, it's still a message, and it's still for you. I'm talking about this today because I feel like this past week I received a message.
And I kind of want to give you some pointers, some tips on when you receive a message, what you should do, and what you shouldn't do. Not that I'm an expert or anything. However, I know for a fact that there were things that I received this week, and it was almost like pieces to a puzzle, where each thing kind of piggyback off of the other thing that I received, and it was just kind of weird. It's one of those things that make you say, like, oh, wow, well, isn't that ironic?
Or for those people that believe in coincidences, I'll be like, oh, that's a coincidence. Personally, I stopped believing in coincidences a long time ago. I do not believe that a coincidence is a thing, that everything happens for a reason. And when those things happen, we need to be paying attention.
I decided to do this episode because last week, I received a message. Now, when I say I received a message, like all the puzzle pieces put together made one message, but there were probably four different little messages that came in that built up to this one. Now, I can't share them all with you, not because I don't want to, but it's because some of them have left me already. Why did they leave me?
Well, because I didn't follow rule number one. Rule number one, when you receive a message, write it down. Whatever you're doing, stop, take two seconds, do a voice recorder message to yourself. Use your notes app on your phone.
Give a sheet of paper and a pencil for crying out loud, but take note of what the message was. Now, mind you, it's not going to be a message where somebody taps you on the shoulder and is like, hey, got a message for you? Not going to be that easy. You have to be paying attention.
Just like when you're walking around out shopping or whatever, and you should be mindful of your surroundings, you need to be mindful of the messages that are around you, the conversations that are being had either with you or around you, presentations, the message, and the presentation. You can't be so caught up in trying to figure out the next point in your day and your timeline without being present wherever it is that you are. So rule number one, write it down. And when you write it down, time, date, place as many specifics about it as you can.
Get it all in there. And then say like before you go to bed, when you're getting ready to plan for your next day, just revisit what that message was in and what it means to you and how it resonated with you, why you even wrote it down in the first place. I guarantee you that that one message is either going to be so strong that you can't help but to know why you heard it or there are gonna be a couple more messages that come after it to kind of solidify the fact that, yeah, you heard me right. This is what I need you to be doing.
This is what I need you to focus on. This is what I need you to be thinking about. I believe that we received these messages because there are times that we're standing in our own way. We won't get out of our comfort zone and we are just so scared of whatever the thing is, that we would rather just keep putting it off, putting it off, putting it off versus facing it and just being done with it.
So having said that, once you get this message, you get enough pieces of the puzzle to put it all together to understand what the full message is. And a lot of times it's going to be, you need to be doing something. There's a specific thing that you should be doing that you're not doing and you need to go ahead and get hot and do it. In order to do that though, a lot of times you have to get out of your comfort zone.
You cannot stay comfortable because if you do, you'll stay stationary. When you think about the fact that in utero, babies reside there and they get comfortable. They're used to that, but when it's time for them to be born, that's a rather uncomfortable situation. Like you don't have to go through and remember being born to know that that had to be uncomfortable.
You're in this wet, dark place and then you come out into a bright, dry place. How uncomfortable must that be? The same thing with birds hatching from eggs. They were comfortable in the egg, but then they grew to the point inside that egg where things started to get a little uncomfortable and then that's when they had to break out of the shell.
And that's what you're gonna have to do. You're gonna have to break out of your shell. You're gonna have to make some moves and is it gonna be easy? No, no, not at all.
Struggle is like the starting point. When birds hatch from eggs and caterpillars from cocoons, they have to struggle to get out. The whole idea behind a butterfly coming out of the chrysalis, if you help the butterfly, then you hinder the butterfly. You pretty much render him dead because it requires that struggle to get out of the chrysalis that gives the butterfly the strength and its wings to fly.
That's what you need. You need the struggle. Don't look for everybody to make the struggle easy for you and to give you all of the answers. Stop waiting for the answers from somebody else.
Get out there, do the hard work and just do the dang thing. You need the struggle to get stronger. You need that uncomfortable situation to cause you to even do something. So when you hear that message and you figure out what it is, you look at it and you are able to identify the hard part of it and why you haven't done it yet, that's when you need to get uncomfortable and start making some moves.
Yes, things are hard in life, but it's not just you, it's everybody. Nobody promised anyone on this earth that life was gonna be a better roses. So don't lay there like it is one. Get up, get out and get something.
Make a move. Thanks so much for listening to today's episode. If you are listening right now in this moment, I believe that this isn't a coincidence. This is a divine appointment.
You needed to hear this message on this day in this moment because there's something that you need to do and you haven't done it yet. You know what the thing is. You know why you're dragging your feet, but today you are receiving the message that it's time for you to stop playing around and get the job done. Do whatever that thing is that you know you're being called to do, you're supposed to do it and stop playing around.
Okay? So I wanna hear about whatever it is that you have going on if you are so open to share. You know where to find me on Twitter and Instagram at hethat, that's at h-e-y-v-e-t-t-e or just look for the hashtag tweet trends. Thanks again for joining me and put those puzzle pieces together.
Figure out what that message is that you are being sent. Figure it out. Take the information. You'll know what to do with it.
And I promise you, you'll be so glad that you got out of your comfort zone, made a move. Sure, it was uncomfortable. It was difficult, but on the other side, you'll realize that it wasn't so bad after all. Okay?
Have a good one and I'll talk to you soon.
