Staff at the Samish Indian Nation have been conducting kelp forest monitoring since 2017. Come join us on this episode, as Toby McLeod, a member of the Samish Indian Nation as well as a technician with their Department of Natural Resources, tells us all about the awesome work they are doing locally to help protect kelp forests and how they are using traditional ecological knowledge and the data collected in this on-going study towards this effort!
