DJ Ancient #5 - A Wild Night Out @ End Of The World

A typical Saturday night at the end of the world: 5 friends searching for the nests of cagarro birds, in order to decrypt their speech. - This marine bird spends half of the year flying over the ocean, only to come back to their nests at the beginning of the spring during the mating season. Then they return to the ocean, to continue their travels... 75% of world population of these birds create their nests in the Azores islands archipelago. - Due to the coronavirus spread, I am currently in quarantine on an island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean - Flores, Azores. This is the westernmost point of Europe. - This project deals with personal field recordings that I share through my online Pirate Radio Station. Sounds of isolation here cover an area greater than a room, an area of an entire remote and wild island with hundreds of animal and plant species, and hundreds of people already used to living in a form of quarantine. *We are a group of self-organized international artists trying to stay sane while in quarantine in different parts of the world, due to the COVID-19 crisis. www.cocolands.xyz
