GENRE: DISCO From the Ben Plumly Jr. Reel-To-Reel mixtape archives. This is the earliest DJ recording that we have in our archives from Ben. This was one of Ben's first mixtapes when he first started DJing in 1979. He wanted me to title it "First Rookie Mix" since it's the beginning of his DJ career and a few mixes are a little loose. This was a time where DJs were mixing tracks with live percussion, so mixes weren't as tight as drum machine driven tracks.
