Oh the memories. Here's a middle-of-the-night, energetic recording of a set i did at the last night of a weekly wednesday night residency that me and a long-time record collecting partner of mine, Dj Monk One, held at the now defunct upscale APT. spot in the meatpacking district of manhattan back in March of 2004. We killed it week after week, pushing the envelope of what could entertain and educate at the same time. If you were never able to make it out to APT., it was an unusual place where people with money AND the artist types could and would co-exist in a nightlife setting.
