DJ Hall's Record-Breaking Freshman Season

Texas States DJ Hall, a Plano native, has made a significant impact in his freshman year, earning Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year honors and a spot on the all-conference second team. He led the team in scoring with 15.3 points per game and ranked sixth in the league with 7.5 rebounds per contest. Halls impressive field goal percentage of 54.1% and free throw percentage of 78.7% contributed to his success. He recorded eight double-doubles, including four against conference opponents, and scored 20 or more points seven times, peaking at 27 against ULM. His 475 total points rank second all-time for a Texas State freshman. Halls all-around game, with 70 assists and 43 steals, has the Bobcats excited for the conference tournament, where they face off on Friday at 5:30 p.m. in Pensacola, Florida.
