Here'z a tape I'm sure a lot of Orlando peep'z will enjoy!! DJ Ice & I go way back. We first met on September of 1989' @ Club Decades where he did an off night on a Tuesday & called it thee Acid House. I still have my t-shirt with the smiley face on the chest and each sleeve & the words Acid House across the chest. Our friendship grew from there with our passion of thee 303 sounds. I would have to say ICE'z style was more European as for KCP was str8 up Chicago & Detroit with a dash of NYC Underground House (A Lot of Todd Terry Records). I actually have a copy of that September 1989' tape somewhere. I'll dig it up & posted here soon. The last time I saw ICE was when when he was a guest @ the club I was resident at, The Voodoo Lounge in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. It was crazy that night & I don't think he recognized me. I played my last record & he jumped on with some of his signature break-beat sound. Other than that, enjoy these ICE beatz... a lil bit b4 he became full fledge break beat head.
