DJ Jimi C's Eardrum Buzz Radio 6th Anniversary show

from Eardrum Buzz Radio Shows · host eardrumbuzzradio

When I started following Seattle's Black Nite Crash and reviewing their music for Highwire Daze Magazine I enjoyed the band's sound, a mix of psychedelic and textured and catchy tunes. But little did I know, that guitarist/singer Jim Biggs was also a club DJ. DJ JimiC has done anniversary shows in the past but this time he's put together two hours of music that is all over the place and a joy to listen to.   Intro (Mike Vickers – Jet Set) w/talk over moondaddy – passenger gina x – nice mover supermodel – i used to live in England talkover pete fij - cuckoo love spells – wish i didn’t love you see see rider – see see talkover verve – all in my mind voyager one – little ruin black nite crash – last time talkover velocity girl – forgotten favorite secret shine – you are inside c’est la mort – nothing ever lasts kitchens of distinction – drive that fast (kexp) damon and naomi – blue thunder (acoustic) black nite crash – falling down (acoustic) talkover the hair and skin trading company – elevenate loop – black sun sundial – let it go talkover 27 various – turn on and on the earthmen – fall and rise of my favorite sixties girl majesty crush – boyfriend talkover the nightblooms – a thousand years boo radleys – tomorrow the jennifers – just got back today talkover black nite crash – i think you should leave six by seven – american beer   farewell (john scott – gathering crowds) w/talk over   About the DJ: Jimi C (aka Jim Biggs) is the Shoegaze Soothsayer of Seattle, having fronted scene stalwarts Black Nite Crash for over 20 years. Raconteur and Man About Town (or at least he was until the pandemic), he also continues to DJ in bars and clubs around the Pacific Northwest solo and with his crew The Vinyleaters, not to mention at least once a year on Eardrum Buzz Radio.   Black Nite Crash’s most recent album, Signal to Noise, is out now, available to listen to on Youtube and all your favorite streamers, but, perhaps more importantly, also on Bandcamp, where the artist actually gets paid. You can check it out, as well as the lengthy Black Nite Crash discography at blacknitecrash.bandcamp.com. (There’s free stuff there, too!!! Including their latest song “I Think You Should Leave”!!!)   Black Nite Crash is mostly sticking to the Pacific Northwest for the summer, but we intend to hit the road and maybe even come to YOUR TOWN in the very near future.   Facebook: @blacknitecrash Instagram: @blacknitecrash Bandcamp: https://blacknitecrash.bandcamp.com/album
