Searching for success in everything he does, Kansas City-bred Hip-hop artist Wine, is a man of substance. Currently based in Atlanta, his movement is as smooth as it is refreshing. With his focus more so on his craft than the fame, he’s effectively setting himself apart from the norm. “I think a lot of artists get caught up in making money and their image, not really focusing on the music itself,” states Wine. “When your real, image doesn’t matter because people can pick up on it when they hear your music. I know I speak about a lot of the same things other artist do, good and bad, but at the end of the day you can hear my creative spirit through all the tracks that I make.” Introduced to music at the age of 9, Wine played 3 instruments before ultimately settling on the drums in middle school. Although during this time he also began writing rhymes it wouldn’t be until later years that it would come back around.
