DJ.MC - STFU & Footwork
from MOVELTRAXX Hosted by MOVELTRAXX
We continue Footwork Appreciation Month with a new EP from Chicago mainstay DJ.MC and the instructions are clear: STFU and Footwork. The title track finds the low-end producer experimenting with his own voice, soulful samples and hypnotic drum programming, while “August Footworkers” showcases MC’s talent for crafting experimental yet dancefloor-ready bangers. The ODB-sampling “Like It R A W” sits alongside the acid-fuelled “Club Hoes”, further demonstrating how DJ.MC draws on Chicago’s rich musical heritage while continuing to push the sound forward.
