DJ UZO - LIVE FROM BOHO MIAMI - AFRO HOUSE

This live recording captures one of those nights that every DJ experiences at some point in their career. Recorded live at Boho Miami during an Electro Dade event, this set was an opportunity to support the local community, share music with friends, and encourage several of my students as they continue building their own careers behind the decks. The journey moves through Afro House, melodic grooves, deep percussion, and soulful rhythms while reflecting the energy of the room in real time. Midway through the performance, I discovered that the venue’s mixer had developed a technical issue affecting the performance. Rather than stopping the music, I adapted, communicated the issue to the organizers, and continued the set. Moments like these are part of being a professional DJ, and a reminder that reading the room and solving problems under pressure are just as important as technical ability.
