Djehuty Speaks 08 - Approaching Love 08 - Your Relationship With Animals

from Different Ways · host Cile

"...You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves...." ~Mary Oliver, Wild GeeseWe love our animals and the scope of our love is easily measured by how we treat them. There are two ends to this spectrum of love. Our domestic pets we treat as children and that includes all the projections and how we anthropomorphize the animals to reflect our sweetest human traits. On the other end of the spectrum, we torture and eat them. Essentially animals are our teachers. They are showing us the "...soft animal of our body..." of which Mary Oliver speaks. We are not the best students as we have inherited a rather huge but very human blind spot with so many generations of seeing ourselves as superior to our animal parts and the animal beings around us. There is nothing quite as obvious of our hypocrisy as how we live out our relationships to animals.“Djehuty Speaks” is a book of materials channeled by Tom Jacobs and these are teachings from the Ascended Master known as Djehuty, Thoth, St. Germain or Merlin. These teachings are included as four smaller books: Approaching Love - Understanding Loss and Death - Goddess Past, Present and Future and Conscious Revolution Tools for 2012 and Beyond - within the book Djehuty Speaks. This book can be purchase at TDJacobs.com where there is an assortment of goods and services to support your personal evolution process.  Please explore Tom’s Website to learn more about Tom and to find helpful information on:  Books  Consultations  Courses Thank you for listening.  A riff on these postings can be found on the blog allthedifferentways.com/blog  where I've composed thoughts and multimedia responses to this material are posted.
