Leviticus 20:1–16, 22–27, continuing the theme of theological ecology, idolatrous practices, and various kinds of sexual immorality, are focused on for their power to profane the name of God, his sanctuary, and pollute the land. Luke 11:37–54, the practice of religion consists of weighty things, and various and sundry other less important practices. God demands that we observe the weightier things, without neglecting the lesser things.
