Joseph grew up in Dayton, Ohio, the son of a lawyer father and insurance salesman mother. It seems as if Joseph had a lot of conflict with his parents, but has some thoughtful things to say about forgiveness. He is someone who works hard on himself, physically, emotionally and spiritually. His creative work is instinctual whether it's songwriting, music,, poetry or visual art. Joseph Arthur started working in high school with a band of guys all older than him, 5 nights a week making  a good living so he never went to college or even needing to look for a side job. An outspoken voice about his opinions about vaccines during the pandemic, along with the birth of his daughter around the same time, affected his career and recharged it.
