DMA #112: "The DEP Sessions" by Tony Iommi f/Glenn Hughes (joined by Clouds Taste Satanic)
from The Department of Metal Antiquities · host Nik Cameron
In the middle of 1996, Tony Iommi reunited with his old friend, Glenn Hughes, late of Deep Purple, Trapeze, and uh..Black Sabbath to make a brand new "solo" album. Unfortunately, the album, which in bootleg circles, would come to be known as The 8th Star, would be shelved for nearly a decade. In 2004, this record finally saw the light of day. This week we are joined by Steve Scavuzzo of Clouds Taste Satanic to discuss this forgotten LP in our quest to spin it or bin it!
