Ben Phillips speaking on "Do As I Have Done" from John 13. In washing the disciples feet, Jesus has shown us that we must be servants one to another. Jesus washed their feet regardless of betrayal, His position, and Peter's resistance. He did so because He knew He was the Christ and serving did not diminish Him. He did so because His example had to be established for our benefit. He did so because His disciples will be known to the world and one another by the love we show each other in serving one another.
