In this episode with Sandy and Tom, they discuss what makes a good coach and how different coaching can be depending on your skill level and needs.Good players are not always good coaches, whether in padel or any sport. While being a skilled player gives a coach valuable insight into the technical and tactical aspects of the game, the ability to teach and guide others requires a distinct skill set. '70% of coaching success comes from communication and emotional intelligence' (European Journal of Sport Science). As a coach try to avoid coaching every player the same way you were taught or the way you play now!
