Do I Even Like You?!

There’s a particular ache that comes from realizing you’ve been more committed to being loved than being yourself. I’ve been there. Most of us have. You bend, you shrink, you rationalize, and before you know it, the reflection in the mirror looks like someone who gave up pieces of herself just to be “chosen.” This Substack is reader-supported.
