Do I Have To Forgive Everyone?

Some of Jesus's very last words as he hung on the cross were a prayer to God the Father that He might forgive the people who killed and mocked Him. And given that He came to die for us--for those who hundreds of years later would believe in His Name-- that prayer of forgiveness was for us too. So if that's true, why is it so hard for us to forgive other people who have hurt us? Jesus knew that the call to forgive was hard. That's why he talked about it a lot. And why we need to come back to His words and His example again and again.
