Do I Have To Go To Church Every Sunday?

Jesus came to earth to seek and save the lost. He forgives their sins on the basis of His death, and then adopts them into His family called the church. Anyone is saved is Jesus belongs to the church. But then what does that mean when it comes to attending and belonging to a real life local church? We've come a long way from the days of guilt-based legalism around church attendance. But sadly, we've too easily exchanged the communal solidarity of regular church gathering for popping in and out when it suits our busy schedules. What does the Bible have to say about going to church? Isn't it enough to just be the church wherever we are? We'll tackle these questions and more this Sunday at CityLight South. We meet at 10:00 in the gym at Christies Beach Primary School for worship and the word. We'll have the heaters on and the coffee machine steaming.
