Finding the right person is akin to professional courtship. That "special someone" is worth waiting for and will spur the chances of dramatic results that endure. When seeking your next coach, look for someone who is obsessed with the details. A coach who has a history of successful clients should have a strong understanding of what works and what doesn't, but even more importantly, they should be able to articulate how they manage their client's expectations. Make sure you know what you're getting into before you sign on with a coach; otherwise, you'll end up wasting your time in an unproductive partnership that leaves everyone feeling frustrated and disappointed at the end of it all.
