On October 2, 2024, Musk tweeted a sinister post in reaction to the floods in North Carolina: Had the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) not illegally revoked the SpaceX Starlink award, it would probably have saved lives in North Carolina. What really caused those extraordinary floods in North Carolina that have all the markings of a land grab like the Maui forest fires before? Was Starlink military grade technology involved? This is a region with some of the richest deposits of lithium in the world, alongside the highest purity quartz on Earth, a $530 billion semi-conductor industry.Tesla supplier Piedmont Lithium had won a mining permit in April of this year but local residents were unhappy about their expansion plans. Reuters (April 15, 2024) tells us: Shares in the company, which first applied for the permit in August 2021, rose 15.9% to close at $14.68 on Monday. The state in 2022 had turned down an application from an unrelated company to expand a quarry.The go-ahead for the 500-foot-deep mine comes despite widespread opposition from neighbours worried about water, noise pollution and other potential problems.Tesla lithium battery deal with PiedmontThe Reuters article tells us Piedmont agreed to a deal with Tesla last year to supply spodumene concentrate, a key raw material for making batteries, to the auto giant through 2025, with an option to renew it for another three years.Bit of a coincidence that Hurricane Helene hit such a lucrative region. Makes you think about why they’ve kept Africa so poor all these years - to rob their rich resources. Same ole greedy story played out over and over. This time America, not Africa, holds the coveted spot for lithium and quartz and look what’s just happened to the locals who complained about the impact the mines would have on their environment. They’ve been flooded out of their homes. So far 200 people are dead and counting.But yeah, it’s Musk and Trump to the rescue. Of course the Father of the Vaccine and Mr Brain Chip are here to help because they say some things we agree with from time to time and offer a dig out in times of need. Sure.Neither Musk nor Trump give a hoot about the people of North Carolina - they’re after the resources. New World Order resources for electric cars, solar panels and AI . They’re globalists too, just batting for a different team. The lesser of two evils, perhaps.
