Do Not Enter!

In today’s devotion, Pastor Kent continues in Proverbs 4 with a serious warning from the voice of a father. Wisdom does not only teach us the right path to walk; it also teaches us the wrong path to avoid. The wicked path is not always marked by obvious violence or extreme evil. It is any way that stands contrary to God’s Word and pulls the heart away from righteousness.This episode reminds us not to treat temptation casually. The wise believer does not ask how close he can get to sin without falling. He turns away, passes on, and flees. The path of righteousness grows brighter with every step, but the way of wickedness leads into darkness, confusion, and stumbling.
