DO NOT LOSE HEART PART 2

Part 2 we will be focusing on keeping our hearts strong and steadfast- having a clean/pure heart.In Psalm 51:10, King David pleads with God to create in him a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit within him.We must acknowledge that our hearts can easily become tainted by the negative influences of this world. It is up to us to actively seek God's help in purifying our hearts.Having a clean heart does not mean that we are perfect; it means that we are constantly striving to do what is right in God's eyes. It means acknowledging our flaws and asking God to help us overcome them. It means being honest with ourselves and with Him.Having a clean heart also ties in with our faith. Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Our faith is like a title deed, assuring us of what we cannot physically see. But if our hearts are not in the right place, our faith can become weak and wavering.
