Do the Thing

If you’re new to The Beautiful Disruption, welcome! I love that you’re here. Lately, I’ve been experimenting with short video posts. Some I use as podcasts, and some I post as videos. Today’s video is a short nine-minute encouragement to do that thing you put off because you think either it doesn’t matter or you simply don’t have the time. God did not allow us to sit and watch the world pass us by. He created us to move, cultivate our passions, and find new ways to experience his joy and bring joy to others. I’d love to hear your thoughts after you’ve watched the video. What is that thing that you can’t find the time to do? What keeps you from doing it or trying it? Or maybe you’re on the other side and can share how you moved beyond the voices of fear and discouragement to do the thing. A Note on My Fiction Finally, I’ve threatened to share my latest fiction work with you. I had to shelve finishing it for a season, but I’m back at it now. On Wednesday, I will post the prologue to my story, The Misadventures of Leighton Fig. I’m nervous, but you know me. I’m an oversharer and excited to get it out there. The Beautiful Disruption is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber. This is a public episode.
