Do These Things

In this powerful sermon, Evangelist Martha P. Davis urges believers to return to sincere obedience and true righteousness. Drawing from Zechariah 7–8, she warns against empty religious rituals done without a pure heart and calls out spiritual leaders who neglect justice, mercy, and compassion. She emphasizes that God is not pleased with outward worship if people continue in pride, rebellion, and hypocrisy—especially when they oppress the poor, the fatherless, the widow, and the stranger. The sermon highlights how many have hardened their hearts to God's voice, resulting in spiritual blindness and division. Yet the message is also one of hope. Evangelist Davis proclaims God’s promise to restore His people if they return to Him with humility and truth. She describes a renewed spiritual community filled with love, justice, and peace—where God dwells among His people. The call to action is clear: love truth, reject evil, speak with integrity, and show kindness. When God’s people live in this way, He will bless them with His presence, joy, and abundance.
