Do We Become Gods? A look at Theosis with Dr. Michael Heiser
from The Remnant Radio's Podcast · host The Remnant Radio
What does it mean to be partakers of the divine nature, what does it mean to be adopted into the divine family of God, and what is the ontological nature of those who are born again? Dr. Michael Heiser is back tonight to discuss "theosis". Its Doc Heiser so you should expect that we will discuss 2nd temple Judaism, early church fathers, and the eastern orthodox church. It's my hope that we can distinguish the early church fathers' doctrine of theosis from the ever-growing heresies found in Morman temple and the "little God Doctrine" sneaking into some word of faith churches. Is there a baby in this bathwater? tune in tonight at 8:30 PM CST and find out. ____________________________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________ Help Support The Channel https://www.paypal.com/donate/?token=q_axItbrn0dkOH-ZMyaMavehY5K9b-2bTtPCCobFWDxdLztVRAjeTtilGHL9CTQNyZ0zVW&country.x=US&locale.x=US Subscribe to The Remnant Radio newsletter and receive our FREE introduction to spiritual gifts eBook.
