UNITED AIRLINE'S CEO SCOTT KIRBY recently stated he plans to train 5000 new pilots by 2030 and he wants 50% of them to be women and people of color (POC). ELON MUSK, CANDACE OWENS, and others publicly disagreed with KIRBY'S initiative by suggesting it might allow unqualified pilots into the cockpit.
