Do What is Right, Not What is Easy- Guest Judge Maria McLaughlin

from The Ouch Couch Podcast · host Sylvia Joseph

Send a textPennsylvania Superior Court Judge Maria McLaughlin grew up with the beliefs to give back, spread hope, and work hard. Why? These are the fundamentals of our shared commonalities. The depth and breadth of what we have in common with one another overlaps the divide of any differences a million times over. Maria grew up from humble beginnings and has never forgotten that lesson from her parents. She was provided the opportunity to attend college which gave her faith of the endless possibilities and to believe in herself and her career trajectory which was at a time when women had limited opportunities and the openings that did exist were competitive and far and few between. Maria has lived a life of service first starting out as a district attorney, then Judge, and role model raising two sons as a single parent. Years later, Maria is happily remarried in a new blended family with 6 children and 4 grandchildren and will always remember the love, guidance and sacrifices made by her parents, Williams and Charlotte. They instilled in Maria compassion and the tireless pursuit of fairness, equity and progress.Follow us on Instagram at TheOuchCouchPodcast
