Do You Accept This Offer? | Reject or Accept | Acts 7:17-36 | with Pastor Joshua Sanders

Have you ever watched the show "Shark Tank?" In this show, entrepreneurs walk in with their business ideas, hoping to convince the sharks (who are millionaires) to invest. The most famous investors were Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary, Daymond John, Lori Greiner, and more. The sharks listen carefully, assessing whether these ideas from the entrepreneurs are worth their time and money. Some pitches are embraced with excitement, while others are dismissed, sometimes harshly, because the sharks don't see the value or potential. The famous words of Mark Cuban on Shark Tank are, “And for that reason, I’m out.” Now, think of God as the ultimate investor. We can stand before Him and He offers us the most incredible offer ever. Through the sacrifice of his Son, Jesus, He's offering forgiveness, eternal life, and a relationship with Him. But just like on Shark Tank, people have different responses to His offer. On Shark Tank, the people can either accept an offer from an investor, or they can reject the offer. With God, some accept His offer with faith and action, recognizing the unmatched value of what He’s offering. Others, however, reject it, missing out on the greatest opportunity of their lives. And in this sermon, we dive into Acts 7:17-36. Stephen in this passage continues his sermon to the Sanhedrin and continues to tell the story of Moses to highlight how people have responded to God's promises throughout history. And what we will learn is that as we GET AFTER IT for the expanding of the Kingdom of God, we can either reject the promises of God, or we can accept His faithful promises.
