Do You Actually Know Jesus?
from theWordcast Hosted by Luke/Mitch
Do you actually know Jesus, or do you just know about Him? One of the most terrifying things Jesus ever said is found in Matthew 7:23: "I never knew you." But what did He actually mean? In this video, we're diving into the difference between simply identifying as a Christian and genuinely having a relationship with Jesus Christ. Because going to church, knowing Bible verses, and calling yourself a Christian aren't the same thing as truly following Jesus. We'll explore what Scripture teaches about genuine faith, salvation by grace, repentance, obedience, and what it actually means to know Jesus personally. This isn't about being a perfect Christian or trying to earn your way into heaven. It's about examining our hearts and asking ourselves a question that every believer should take seriously: Am I actually following Jesus, or have I just gotten comfortable calling myself a Christian? My hope is that this message challenges you, encourages you, and ultimately draws you into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. 📖 Scripture referenced: Matthew 7:13–23 James 2:19 John 15:4–5 Luke 9:23 Ephesians 2:8–10 💬 Let's talk: What's one thing God has been teaching you about genuinely following Jesus? Share it in the comments! If this message encouraged or challenged you, consider liking the video, subscribing, and sharing it with someone who might need to hear it. Welcome to theWordcast — where we're learning to know Jesus, grow in our faith, and follow Him together. #JesusChrist #Christianity #ChristianFaith
