Do You Cry Out to God as Savior and Lord?
from Growing and Witnessing · host Clint Davis
Do you realize that suffering and hardship is a natural part of our lives? On the grandest of scales, its purpose is to make us realize that this world is not our home. We were made for something more. We were made to live in relationship with God and to walk with him in perfection. But, we lost that privilege when sin entered the world. We are now living under a curse. However, there is hope for us because God sent his son into the world to save us from our sins. If we trust him, we will be restored and live with him forever. The questions before us in Psalm 57 are: Do we trust the Lord Jesus and cry out to him as our Savior and our Lord, and do we understand that God has a purpose for us in our suffering?
