Well my guest found her joy...From Acting to Podcasting: The Unexpected Shift Debbi’s journey into podcasting didn’t start in a typical way. She was once a professional actress and singer, deeply involved in the entertainment industry. In fact, at one point, she had the most successful year of her career in both acting and singing. However, despite this success, Debbi felt a deep, uncomfortable pull towards something else. This inner conflict persisted for three years before she finally surrendered and let go of her career, unsure of what her next path would look like.It wasn’t long before the universe began to show her the way. Following what she calls "energy"—a kind of intuitive guidance—Debbi explored various creative outlets, from singing with a jazz band to making jewelry. But the breakthrough came when she was offered a voice-over role for a cartoon, something she had never considered. After a memorable audition, she landed the role and even had a song written for her character. From there, a new door opened: radio.Debbi saw an advertisement for a radio station in Burbank, California, looking for a host. Although she had never imagined herself in that role, she felt drawn to it and decided to pursue it.
